Kampala

Photos: July 14, 2007. Thanks to Stephanie for digging out the evidence of this remarkable booth. Here's her report: "I spent the first half of 2007 studying abroad in Cape Town and then the summer in Western Kenya. I took a trip to Kampala to visit my friend who had been living there for a while. I can't really remember where we were or what we were doing when we stumbled across this sidewalk photobooth, but I remember being so stunned and also thinking it was such a magical moment. It was drizzling in Kampala that day and somehow, impossibly, on a broken-down sidewalk, we ran into a photobooth. If I remember correctly, we gave our money to the operator, who turned a key similar to the color booth we were in at IPC. Probably one of my most magical photobooth experiences to date!"
